Payment Plans and Retainers
Having a lawyer on retainer allows you direct access to legal services when you need it. Your retainer can be deposited into a client trust account until the law firm performs services for you.
It allows you to consult a legal expert about future issues before they come up (during the planning stages of your life decisions and small business transactions).
Retainers can be paid in a lump sum or in a payment plan.
The amount of your retainer depends on the scope and volume of the legal advice and work you require. For instance a family retainer will be less than a small business retainer.
